Hello all
I am working on a site which has many, many good quality, topic related backward links. The links themselves come from respected sites in the field.

The site is very much 'white hat', no e-commerce, just information only. It is an established site, using an establshed domain, but has undergone a redesign about 3 months ago. Even so, the incoming links all go to the domain, www.[ domain name ].co.uk, rather than a potentally redundant page.

Despite this, the pagerank is 0 and the Google toolbar says that there are no backward links to the domain! I was going to check the links to see if there were any which would cause a problem of this kind.

Any ideas as to why this seemingly 'respectable' site has a 0 Pagerank and is showing no backward links in Google whatsoever?

What is the backlink status in yahoo? Y's backlink check is less filtered and will give you a better point of reference. If all your backlinks in G are from very good sources G might be filtering them purposefully from view. Just some theories that have been floated around here. Regardless, Y is a truer picture of your backlinks.

Also, is your domain.co.uk redirecting to you your www.domain.co.uk? If not you might be having some issues with PR dispersement between the two domains (assuming both are the same content).
