Today Google's cache has been almost illegible for Swedish pages.

Allthough the character encoding is correctly set to charset=ISO-8859-1", the output data looks as if it has gone throuth some other kind of encoder before it is written to the page.

It happens from Google.com and Google.se alike, but on Google.se even Google's own text is garbled:

Det här är G o o g l es cache av [webmasterworld.com...] från 3 mar 2005 09:27:36 GMT.

instead of
Det här är G o o g l es cache av [webmasterworld.com...] från 3 mar 2005 09:27:36 GMT.

Snippets and descriptions are displayed correctly, and it doesn't seem to affect the SERPs, but cached pages are almost impossible to read.

The German character ü takes the prize. It's displayed as ü

Noticed this yesterday, and some times previously in the past. I don't know that it has ever effected anything in terms of ranking.
