Hi, I have a quick question.

I have a site: widgets.com and widgets.com/forum These sites are very important to me and make me good money. I had another set of pages developed which uses some duplicated content from another site. I was going to place this content at widgets.com/articles.

Would google penalize my entire site? Widgets.com in general for having articles that are on another site (The authors are allowing me to use them). I don't want to jeopardize the main site: widgets.com if the duplicate content on widgets.com/articles will penalize me.

Please give me your thoughts.

No, just the pages that you've copied.

Hello,

i have found this weird urls:
www.webmasterworld.com.1bu.com

webmasterworld is only a example, try your domain

This sites seem to be generated on the fly.

If this sites are indexed, does google see what site is the original?

I don't like to call it a penalty ... it seems to be more like the duplicate content is just ignored - in favor of the best of the original content.

IE no boost to the original, and no penalty for the original ... the duplicates are not worthy.
