Different Results with Different Browsers?

Browsers, Mac, Safari, IE

On my Mac using Safari or Firefox or on my PC using Windows 2000 (IE 6), Google gives me the same results. My site is #1, where it has been for over 2 years.

However, on my other PC using Windows XP (IE 6), my site is gone!

All the computers are on the same network with a shared internet connection via Airport router...

Should I be worried or is this just a temporary DC issue?

Google, like many popular sites uses DNS for load balancing.

As a result, different PCs on the same network may connect to different Gogole servers. These servers might have different indexes at the same time.

It's possible that spyware on your PC is changing the search results. Try running one of the anti-spyware utilities.

I think XP and 2000 both have a local dns cache. Maybe this has different values on each machine?

at a 'command prompt' / MS DOS box type:-
ipconfig /displaydns

is it different?

or maybe your router is caching something.
I don't know but am interested to know I often see differences depending on the machine I use.
