I'm in Australia so when I go to www.google.com, it defaults to www.google.com.au. How do I stop this happening?
I'd like to see my ranking in the .com, and selecting "the web" is doing something different. I have a tool which reports my ranking in the .com and it tells me I'm ranked 13 for my primary keyword "copywriter". When I search for "copywriter" and select "the web" I'm ranked at number 1. I'd like to see for myself using the plain ole .com.
I know this is a question that's been answered before (and probably on this forum), but I've been searching for hours and can't find the answer.
Thanks heaps in advance.
Cheers.

Perhaps this link will do the trick:
[google.com...]
There are three links:
Advertising Programmes - About Google - Go to Google.com
If you want to go to Google.com - click on the link.
Conversely:
When you go to Google.com - you get these 3 options:
Advertising Programs - About Google - Go to Google Australia
You can go back to Google Australia.
