I put the keyword in 3 or 4 times in the title and had a good ranking.
for a week now i am not on the first page anymore but page 64.
I removed the keywords from the title now except fro one....no repetitions. Hope this will do the trick.
What do you think?
At least this might be the reason why my traffic dropped.
I never did anything else and google might have done that now in order to get rid of link farms.
my traffic dropped from 1500/day to 200/day and now 80/day within the last 4 days
To me, the same keyword multiple times in the title is more likely a sign of a clueless, amateur webmaster than a spammer. I've always assumed from a SEO perspective that the ideal title would be a string of all different, relevant keywords. (Although, this will tend to discourage humans from clicking on the link.) If I were programming a search engine, I'd just give no extra algo benefit beyond one use of a keyword in the title. Actually penalizing for such would cause to much collateral damage to amateur sites. (High KWD on page is the same way. I've seen LOTS of amateur sites with hideous KWDs on the page simply because the webmaster was lousy at writing text for humans to read.) I'd be surprised that Google has ever in recent memory given an algo boost for multiple use of a single KW in a title. Precisely because it doesn't help the vistor.
I try to target a specific group of visitors and they are all happy when they find the website and the sign-up ratio (it is all for free btw!) is really high.
spamming means being on the top search results no matter what people are looking for and try to make money with them....so this is not spamming,
the keywords in the title served the purpose of being above the spammer or at least so that the site has a chance to eb found.
