I've had this problem on 2 different pc's (although, using internet connection sharing). I've tried firefox and IE. I don't know what the problem is, but when I click on contacts, nothing happens. Now that I can invite someome, I can't open that window either. Both computers running xp. One, sp1 and the other, sp2. I thought it might be my isp (because it works fine at work), but I tried using a proxy, with the same results. Has anyone else run into this? I can't seem to figure out what the problem is.

Nevermind, I disabled Norton Internet Security, and this fixed the problem. Odd.

Norton was probably blocking the windows as pop-ups.

Thanks, sorry, NIS does disable some links in Gmail, we are working on it. Meanwhile, just disable NIS.

Another option is to put gmail into your trusted norton sites. That's all I had todo with 2004 to get gmail to display properly.

I've got Norton running with whatever default it comes with and have had no problem, but I'll have to do a report because sending to anyone on the contact list doesn't seem to be working altogether. When I try I get sent back to the log-in page.

They'll need to add features but I can understand why it's Beta and not feature-packed. Even with what's there I've encountered a few things I'll have to let them know about - like opening HTML attachments doesn't work.
