Gmail "Archive" facility just rocks

no I havent gone mad, but just thought I would mention it.

currently my Outlook express handles over 200 inbound emails a day, and INBOX is sitting with around 6000 NON filed messages, have NO idea where to put them.

GMAIL archive solves all that, granted I only have about 300 emails in GMAIL at present.

ARCHIVE "looks" like the answer to my email problems.

I definitely agree! Just remember, though that to REALLY manage the emails well, you still need to use the Labels function, otherwise all your emails will just end up in the "All Mail" view uncategorized.

I'm using the Filters to automatically apply labels - works a treat.

Me too. Filters and Labels are GREAT for mailing lists that I'm on.
