Google has joined the BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification) initiative to allow brands to display their logos in GMail messages. Only the VMC (Verified Mark Certificate) verified business with DMARC adopted protocols will be able to use the logo. Entrust Datacard and DigiCert are the two current logo certification authorities.
BIMI's working group includes SendGrid, LinkedIn, Validity, Fastmail, Valimail, Verizon Media (Yahoo and AOL).
