Google Gmail Adds Additional Themes and Emoji

Google has added additional themes and emoji for users to customise their accounts, and to communicate with emoji.

I don't mind the occasional emoji, but some people seem to make up a whole sentence packed with symbols that make it hard to read.

I do like the idea of the backgrounds.
