Gmail is used for sending defamatory mails, and unfortunately Google does not provide any details of the sender so that I can initiate legal action again them, despite requesting Google for the details. When a sender uses his or her own domain name for email, they can be immediately traced and are accountable for the same. When gmail is used by extortionists and blackmailers there is no accountability at all, Google will protect them. Can anyone help?

Hypothetical question: Are you saying that Google has refused to comply with a subpoena ordering them to disclose the relevant information?

Have not sent a subpoena yet, requested them to provide details.
