Business and consumer users of Google's popular e-mail service were hit by an outage on Tuesday.The service went offline at 0930 GMT with Google saying it was "working hard to resolve this problem".
In a statement, Google said "a number of users" were having problems with Google Mail.
"We know how important GMail is to our users so we take this very seriously," it added.
I told them that I'm convinced of their reliability and that I regard every E-mail that's sent through the open jungle as "public" anyway.
One pro-argument gone.

Points to consider:
The temporary crash of Gmail affected office work across millions of offices around the world as a large part of the official mail is often carried on Gmail. In India, the Google email service provider is also used by government officials.
