Is G-mail showing thematic Ads?

How true is it that the corresponding Google Ads are thematic with the content of the incoming/outgoing mail?

E.g. if my mail is on job application, the Sponsored Ads I might see are Naukri.com, Monster.com, etc. in India.

Yes, Gmail is definitely showing *thematic* ads. Whether Gmail is reading the emails or not is a controversial matter but anyway, the ads Google shows on the right side and top tend to be very relevant to your email context.

The existence of Gmail is Adwords ads , you must have forgot the whole privacy concerns raised when gmail came
