GMail Spam

am i the only one getting a ton of spam?

I have several emails accounts, yahoo, hotmail, my own domain, and gmail.

gmail by far is getting the most spam. daily i get several messages TO MY INBOX that i have to report as spam. that's not counting the few hundred that are pre-filtered into the spam box.

i dont mind the pre-filtering stuff...but to my inbox? come on.

am I the only one?

I get very little spam in my gmail inbox. Occasionally there's a bad few days, when the spammers come up with a new idea - but gmail learns fast - it then drops to one or two per day, max - plus a couple of dozen in the spam box.

And my inbox includes mail from several websites; the trick is never to display your 'real' email address; always use throwaway ones; write them in javascript, and always report spam and spoofs (if someone else hasn't already).

Oh and never visit porn sites or chatrooms, and always check the "no cr**" box when you sign up for anything.

about a dozen so far today. Mostly emails with random words thrown together to look like genuine correspondence, followed by a GIF attachment which is an ad for some male enhancement.

I notice that I don't get very much on the weekend, but Monday morning it hits with a vengeance.
