Forum Renamed and Refocused

We are putting the focus back on Marketing and Webmaster issues.

Other stray Gmail topics are offtopic now.

Sounds like a good idea. But shouldn't the forum also be moved to the Marketing World section next to the Adwords, Adsense etc. forums, and out of the Webmaster World section?

ya, some category rearrangement is under way behind the scenes. It will be moved to a new advertising section.

so whats with the other threads being left in the list and still live? ...do we only post here on this thread or what ..I didn't think that we could actually discuss the ad potential or not of gmail ( and then went back and read their tos properly using my thinking head ...) ..but now I'm confused again can somone explain why if the other threads are now to be considered off topic ( I gotta admit I was as guilty as anyone with "flippant posting"but hey "sometimes from the mouths of babes" etc )..they are still there?

I think there are 40 threads in this forum ...which are the "on topic ones" ...kill the rest and take em away? ...I've got some stuff that I'd like to post but now the question is where? :o
