RSS feed with Ads by Google

I've seen several sites/blogs that provided this feature.
So, if you use some RSS reader (like RSS Bandit or whatever you like more) you can see little ad banner on the bottom of each message.
Does it really work?
Does Google count this as a normal usage of their ads?

No, you have to be approved by Google Adsense.
