Atom, Rdf, RSS 1.0, 2.0, 0.91 and so on

Which to stick with?

Ok, so I've been looking into the whole "feed" stuff to implement on a site I'm working on. The question I have not found a good answer to is this: which should I use? How many different types of feeds are actually nescessary? Are there many aggregators that only supports one or two formats?

While reading about the many versions of RSS I found one article stating that as a provider you should support RSS1.0 and RSS2.0 and skip the 0.9x branch. Is this a good advice? And what about Atom? Is there really a need to have RSS1, RSS2 AND Atom feeds on a site?

This is a good comparison chart for rss, does not touch atom though:

Well, that was a nice technical comparison of the different version but it didn't really help me out with my problem - Which RSS versions and Atom should a website support? Is there a need to have 5 different versions of a feed live on your website?
