Hello all,
I would liek to use an RSS feed on my website, but I find it rather annoying that most of the free feeds have the top lines of text advertising their website/feed.
All I want to know is there a way to get rid of this?
as I would verymuch like to put an rss feed onto my site but the tacky ads some feeds have make me shiver!

any ideas?
or even places i can pay for feeds.

Cheers.
Steve.

The best way is to contact the feed provider and come to an arrangement. It's only fair that if a feed is providing you with free content that you should provide them with the attribution they may wish for.

Alternatively, read the feed into a php/asp array, chop off the top item, and output it.
