When to update my.yahoo RSS feed?

Do you have to reload your my.yahoo page or ping it?

I have added my RSS feeds to my.yahoo

Do I need to reload the my.yahoo page everytime I post something new?

Do I need to ping it using the URL they shared?

I used to ping it, but I think it fetches updates automatically.

They say that the maximum refresh interval is 24 hours (minimum is 30 minutes for a constantly updated site).

They do have a REST interface so you can just generate a link e.g.

[api.my.yahoo.com...]
