Anybody else noticed this today, that all the froogle links have gone from the Google homepages and from the bottom of the SERPS listings?

Maybe it was a holiday season test...

LOL ;)

Maybe it was just a test, but after those links appeared on the Google homepage and at the bottom of the SERPS, i bet they had a lot more use froogle.

I certainly got some extra traffic, and I only uploaded my feed a couple of weeks ago.

Just hope they give froogle a good kick now and really promote it.

IMO Froogle will be fully integrated in Google's core search results sometime mid-Q1 '04. This means not just a link on Google.com, but Froogle results showing up on many in not all commercially-oriented searches.

Yes i agree this could be what they are planning after seeing froogle results at the top of Normal SERPS earlier this month.

But what happens to your normal SERPS listing? is it dropped if your listed in froogle or will it stay?

Maybe that's why they're stopping the sponsored links in Adwords. Perhaps they're planning to use that for Froogle.

They still need to improve the results. They are useless for most searches at this time.

Agree with you there, there's seems to be no consistency with the results.

Maybe its another year in beta (boot-camp ahah) for Froogle, as the results need a big big improvement before it can be taken seriously.

Very happy with our Froogle results for Wall Murals even though they removed it from the Home page. We are still being shown for our top keyword (Wall Murals). If anyone needs to get their feeds properly listed on Froogle they should use snip They have excellent prices for getting products onto Froogle plus they handle everything on your datafeeds

I think they know that froogle is not that perfect as they'd like to have it, so they took it down again.
