Does this explain why so many Amazon, Bizrate, Dealtime, eBay and Epinion results are now so high in google?
Taken from Froogle search results.
Try your search on other sites: Amazon - AOL - eBay - MSN - Yahoo - BizRate - DealTime - Epinions - mySimon.

Looks like us small players are about to become history.

I was at first surprised to see this, but what did we expect. It really is in line with the other stuff going on.

I hope this is the end to Googles surprises.

On the plus side, I discovered an old customer that I had a trademark dispute, listing my trademarked product as being available. Should be interesting.......

Search engines have been displaying competitors and partners at the bottom of search results for years. Nothing new.

Hi folks; stupid question here from a relative novice.

I'm trying to understand this whole Froogle thing better, especially the implications.

My understanding is that Google likely to monetize Froogle by tying all the Froogle results to merchants' affiliate programs, either directly or via an affiliate network such as CJ, BeFree or Linkshare.

Is my understanding correct, or is Google simply going to let merchants directly feed their product info in Froogle without paying a dime?

Please enlighten me!

Thanks,
