What benefit (if any) does Google derive from free eBay listings being placed in their Google Base?
I can see a lot of downsides for the old/current Froogle Base who advertised their products .. suddenly the eBay floodgates are opened up and siphon off clicks that would ordinarily go to a retailer and not an auction site.
Should the small business be concerned? Is there an upside? Would appreciate some insight.
