Feed's "description" field truncation

Can anyone help me with an issue that I am having?

I am in the process of submitting a feed to Froogle, but in the "description" field of the tab delimited file that you have to create it in, the words are being truncated, i.e. cut-off at some point.

This happens when I copy/paste the product feature words directly from our website into the "description" field.

I will save the tab delimited file and reopen it in MS Excel and all the words for the "description" field that I saved are truncated or not there.

Any imput for a possible solution. I have emailed Froogle about this, but I do not know if they can help me with this one and besides, I have not recieved a response back in over a week.

Make sure that you do not have any tabs or line breaks in your text. I see this all the time when clients send me there excel files for importing. A lot of times they are cutting and pasting text out of another document and pasting in the line breaks and tabs right along with the text. A good tool that lets you see these line breaks and tabs is BBEdit. Also there might be a limit to the number of characters allowed. Other then that, I am not sure I can help you.
