Google pushes Froogle up a notch

The location of froogle in the Google "advanced search" box has changed

I'm not sure if this just happened today, but if it did, it's interesting to note that Google would make their Froogle product search more prominant in the "advanced search" feature, on the same day that Yahoo! moves their product search out of Beta.

Good catch I haven't seen it there before. This is war! Too bad it seems like the Y! site looks like the froogle site with the layout.

Wonder when G! will come out of beta of theirs and stick it up there with the rest of them or if they have a bigger picture for it all.

They may have been spurred by the recent Y news stories that measured Groogle's reach at .3% of the shopping audience.

Sorta OT here....

Personally disappointed with both Froogle and Y! product search.
My products have been indexed with incorrect price and images, leading to angry customers.

Problem happened with the XML feed to google and w/o a feed to Y!.

What happens when a SE displays an incorrect price and or image, and leaves us with customers who feel they have been mislead?

Froogle is far from done in my opinion. They had so much problems with categorizing my feeds. My products ended up in wrong categories that aren't even supposed to display products. They then explicitly asked me to give them detailed categories so they can better categorized my products, I sent them another feed with edited categories and half of my products are STILL displaying incorrectly, or not showing up at all.

I tried Froogle when it was first released and found it was a waste of time. Has anything changed?
