hi i just got to know abt robot.txt i also read in another site dat robot.txt shud be transfered into ASCII mode before updating it onto the site..but how is this done? thank u funnycloud

It's an FTP client function.
Uploading in ASCII, rather than Binary, mode will (should?) transform your text file to have UNIX line enders, which the spiders like.
