The robots.txt file is usually just at the root of your site, so you'd be able to see it if you typed [yourdomain.com...] into your browser.

I tried (see above)and no such file exists in my domain.
I'll be reading the forum posts but essentially I want to know basics:
if I know what robot txt file to use, do I create a text file ,and then upload it?
to where specifically?
do I need to put a robots text file in every directory?
Theres allot of information here but it kind of assumes you understand your way around.(Can I get the see spot run version?)
