Hello,

I just changed the URL (path) to the pages of a site and got spectacular results in Google, however Yahoo is still not indexing the new pages and shows the old pages, which are now nothing more than a colelction of 404s.

I'd like to do one of the following, depending upon which would work better (fast) to get Yahoo to index the new pages.

1) Redirect spider to the new pages...

2) or block Yahoo from the folder where the old pages are located and then let nature take it's course.

let's say the old path is www.domain.com/folder/page.htm and the new pages are at www.domain.com/page.htm

what would a robots entry look like to accomplish each, and which would be better?

Any advice would be grreatly apperciated!

Thanks!

Rollo, I'd suggest using a 301 redirect from the old to the new document.
