Making robots?

Does anyone know how to do this? Are there robots that you can alter to do what you want them to do? Also once you have the robots how can you get them to paste or embed the content, i.e. links, into your webpage? Would you use RSS for this. Does the page have to be in php format? Thanks.

I created a small robot (still learning) for my web site. The robot will fill out forms for me. You can do it in CC+ and some time, that depends on what you need it to do.

I have not see one, but I am sure there is one out there, try software sites and free scripts sites.

No! Not at all, it could be CGI, perl, etc.

To make the most basic form of robot, find a cat and put tubes over its legs, it will walk like it is a robot.

On a more serious note I'm curious about this as well, anyone up for writing a guide.

There are many general purpose robots available for download. I think I have even seen some on download.com. Before you build or buy a robot you should first think what you want it to do then how much needs to be done and how fast you want it finished. Also if you download a robot remember it could be spying on your activities. I know a person that is distributing a free robot that sends him back alot of useful information.

Your choices will range from free dyi robots to heavy duty aka it cost alot of money robots.
