Well... Actually I am alone. Which is the main reason I hate Valentine's Day.

In my part of the UK Valentines Day always used to be good for the children.

Old Mother Valentine used to knock on the front door, disappear and leave a present, then you would hear a knock at the back door and find another present with no-one there and so on. Prezzie were normally only sweets, candy etc - but it was very exciting. Hmmz happy days :)

Unfortunately this tradition is dying out here.
