It looks like Microsoft is going to license their code. This would be in lieu of producing continually mounting requests for documentation, which they cannot seem to produce due to a lack of skilled techical writers?

It should be interesting reading. I wouldn't mind a peek.

Having seen the title of this post I was certain that 'grandpa' had pasted 100 million lines in a post. Took a few seconds before I realised that nothing more was loading...

I wonder if someone at microsoft said "Okay, final milestone reached guys, 99,995,000 lines and an enormous amount of work, however we want it to be exactly 100,000,000 so go back to your desks and write something". The added code was probably Automatic Crash Reports which slow down crashes immeasurably, a nice feature which means that you get a message to say 'New Programs Added' when you open the start menu - every time.
