Hi all, is this the place to post welcome messages

Some of you might know me from WPW or DC.

My name is Simon and run a small search engine. Hobbies are SEO, VR, AI and other techie matters. Also like music and love watching films

Forum seems to have a good array of subjects.

Do you need to subscrible to use the search functions?

Welcome aboard burf! The search is configured in your control panel under Edit System Preferences. Set it up there and it will appear at the tops and/or bottoms of all your pages.

This is the code you want ot paste into the bottom one or two boxes under Edit System Prefs:

<form method="GET" action="http://www.google.com/search" target="_blank"><input type="hidden" name="domains" value="webmasterworld.com"><input TYPE="text" name="q" size="25" maxlength="255" value><input type="submit" name="btnG" value="Google"><input type="radio" name="sitesearch" value="webmasterworld.com" checked> webmasterworld.com <input type="radio" name="sitesearch" value>www</form>

Thats an interesting way to go about searching!

I believe it was set up this way because this site is so heavily indexed and frequently visited by Google it's just more efficient.
