Strange, I though WW would be pretty high up in the rankings but a search suggests it's not listed at all.

I think the meta for this thread should be "All the major forums in the world CLAIMED TO BE ranked here".

Compare the alexa pageviews for webmasterworld.com with the top ranked by traffic (nexopia). WebmasterWorld is getting 10x the hits.

How would the site get data? I might have a forum bigger than any of those listed, with more members, and more posts, but I might not wish anyone to know my traffic, members, or post number data.

To me, this site seems little more than a 'top-links directory'.

They base it on post counts of a forum, but they only work on forums which webmasters have submitted in, so if someone from here submitted the forum to them, they would add it... they are pretty good to be honest.
