Wierd Ebay Problem

Apperently Tonight Ebay has been having som security issuse that would make Brett's server issus last month look like a simple day at the office.

I was able to get into other people "My Ebay" section and see all their account stuff without loging into their account. I've sent ebay several messages and am currently online with one of the account security help people.

I bet there is going to be some hair pulling on this one tonight and maybe even a few heads rolling. It was wird though going through someone else Ebay account. They seemed like nice people though. I called them on the phone. They were a bit upset though aboult me being on their account.

yep. took me forever talking to the ebay people. they say they will investigate the problem and they were currently unaware of it. I don't know if it was a scripting error on their part or if they got hacked. scarry though all that personal info just out there. I don't know if I could have done any major damage to other peoples accounts (I oviously didn't try) but I might have been able to if I had desired to. Someone else out there on the web might have done differently.

I remember when you used to be able to sign onto the old powerseller board using your own authorised ebay password but choose any other powersellers name.
