I switched off Javascript support in Yahoo! Mail

How to switch it back on?

While testing with Javascript switched off, I accessed my Yahoo! Mail account. A message popped up saying I needed to enable Javascript or switch to the old version of Yahoo! Mail. I switched to the old version, thinking it would be easy to switch back to the Javascript enabled version. But it's not so easy.

Does anyone know how to make the switch back?

If anyone else has hit this problem, I found a solution with a little googling.

To quote the page on which I found the solution:

"I did end up solving the problem. I use Norton Internet Security, and
what I did to fix the problem was log off Yahoo mail, then momentarily
turn off Norton, then log back on to Yahoo mail. Yahoo mail then
apparently auto-detected that javascript was enabled because I then
had the new version of Yahoo mail back. I then made sure to turn
Norton right back on.

I presume Norton was blocking some attempt by Yahoo mail to check
whether the browser had javascript enabled, so kept defaulting back to
the old mail version when its attempts were blocked by Norton."
