A few days ago a piece of spam appeared in two of my Yahoo mailboxs. It seemed to have some kind malformed structure, and I was seeing HTML code break through onto the Yahoo mail page's interface. I couldn't delete the messages - kept getting errors. Now the Yahoo mail page has slowed to a crawl - it takes several minutes to appear. The Yahoo news page is also slowing to a crawl, taking almost 30 seconds to appear.
Is anyone else noticing this? I can imagine that if this malformed spam appeared in hundreds of thousands of mailboxes it might be causing some systemic problems.
