Brett, could you give us a list of the first 100 members or some blast from the past? Us old dogs would like a trip down memory lane.

I think they should get a free lifetime membership to the supporters area if they haven't already.

That would be interesting to see and to see how many are still here.

How many are there / have there been altogether?

Ya, that would be interesting.

My only regret is lurking for about a year before my first post.

Wouldn't the first seventy be Brett?

That would be fun. Maybe Brett could whip something like that up for the WebmasterWorld anniversary? It's coming up very shortly....

My only regret is lurking for about a year before my first post.

Hehe, I hear ya Rugles. If I had posted 25 days earlier I'd have a coveted "2000" after my joined date!

My only regret is lurking for about a year before my first post.

Seems like a common thing for many memebers. When I came here first I was so stunned by the depth and professionality of (most) members and comments, that I spent months and months just reading. Almost any time when I encountered a problem myself, it was already being discussed - and solved - here.

However one day I broke through the even horizon and had an issue which was not yet discussed. And that's when I signed up.

Does the refrain in this thread sound familiar? [webmasterworld.com]

Or this? [webmasterworld.com]

The first 100 threads would be a great read ...

>>>wonder what the oldest threads are as well

Some guy named Tabke asking if anybody knows the best software for a forum type site?

My guess:

Some guy named Tabke saying he has the best forum software, the best forum, and inviting everyone to a PubCon to discuss the matter ...

I was thinking this Tabke guy was frustrated after a long night of de-bugging.

This has been asked a few times, and the answer is always the same. It seems I need to set the record straight once again.

So, for the record: "There are only eight of us here, we just change nics an awful lot!"

Betcha Brett if he's seen this thread is lurking himself. ;-)

I do not have any divine pleasure of saying I've been here since the early days...maybe give it another 10 years, not nine though. So in 10 years if we're all still posting it will probally be like this...

Title: How much to charge for IE6 backwards compatable site?

Post: My clients have 0.2% IE6 share and after traffic that comes out to about 20 people a day. My client wants the site to work in IE6. How much should I charge? Also I've heard rumors that designers had to hack?

That was the FIRST smiley I've seen here...EVER! Time for me to do a little lurking myself! :D

"joined date" seems to be later than post date on thos old threads.
Maybe their names expired.
