Not a saw. Think the opposite.

Are you referring to the globe shaped bit, or the whole lot?

Is it designed to contain something and do something to the thing being contained?

Think the opposite

So it puts things together....?

Does it spin and use centrifugal force to put things together?

Yeah, just the globe shape is important (round)
It does do something to the thing that it contains.

Mack.

Does not make the steel ball, but that part is crucial to what this machine does help create.

It does put things together...things such as layers.

I do not think it spins, and I am nearly 100% that it does not use centrifical force to do anything.

I am guessing expanding, and contracting.

Also I found this gizmo while looking for this one [webmasterworld.com].

You are red hot. It does aid in the ball making process, for sports balls. Lets make it harder and get me the type of balls, and the name of the gizmo?

I think it is only mods playing.
