Job Description

Hi guys, I'm fairly new to the site and SEO. I've been lurking for a while, learning learning learning. :)

My job at my company is strictly link building and web marketing. Really, my job is search engine optimization.

They've given me a job title of Web Marketing Associate, but that doesn't seem to fit.

For those of you who don't run the web site, just the SEO aspect of it, what is your job title?

Welcome to WebmasterWorld Lyndsay..at least we know you don't work for ( I think it might've been baked jake ..) ..the person who filled your role was titled "link monkey " ....( I always figured they didn't know their title ) ..

Given the difficulties of explaining SEO to bosses and others ..I'd call yourself "it's my fault" ...cos they'll think it is ..

If not "blackhat" or "whitehat "will do ...or "very dark grey hat" ..or "whatever it takes hat" ...or just "Wizard" ( you get to chose more hats that way ) ...

The boss will think it's easy anyway ....did you get SEOMikes old gig?
