There's a keyboard on the market for the super geek. All the keys are blank. Reminds me of my old typing class, but I don't want to go back there!

He reasons that if you look down at your fingers, it slows you down. But if you use a blank keyboard, after a while you will stop looking for keys and start touch-typing properly.

I like it. It's the keyboard equivalent of a watch with no numbers on the face and just a minute hand and an hour hand.

Come to think of it, I've even seen watches like that with just an hour hand.

I have to confess never took to touch-typing, but even without my fingers touching the keyboard, I can type reasonably quickly without looking down.

I do press the occasional wrong key though. I imagine that a keyboard like this would get very frustrating when trying to type in a long password where each character shows up on the screen as just an asterisk.
