Going on the road, want to transfer everything I need...

With all the webmasters here, I'm sure someone knows the answer to this.

Is there a program that will sync up my Desktop with my Laptop? I go on the road a lot, and would like as close to a "one button solution" as possible for getting all my info from my desktop to my laptop so when I travel I have (literally) everything I had at home.

(This would also be nice to do daily/weekly to backup the desktop)

Thanks a ton!

I recently downloaded and started using a program called BeInSync. You have to pay around $50 bucks a year for up to 5 computers, but once you install it on both your laptop and your computer the folders you specify are forever in sync without you having to do anything.

After I installed it I was amazed. It is probably one of the coolest programs I have ever used and it works perfectly.

beinsync.com

(no i don't work for them, but I wish I owned this company)

If you use Windows XP there is a thing called a "briefcase" where you can store files that will "sync" between two computers. It's a pretty slick funciton and is free. Just right click a blank spot, click new, and then click briefcase. When you open the briefcase for the first time it gives you instrucitons on how it works.

Good luck.
