Happy Canada Day [pch.gc.ca] to all the fellow Canadians!

Today, in 2005, Canada marks it's 138th birthday.

And the weather is cooperating at least in the Toronto region!

The wind blew wild rose petals all over the drive. My early Canada Day jog was over a carpet of rose petals and the scented air was awesome.

I am staying away from the village center and all the goings-on. Just having a lazy day appreciating my pleasant life in my delightful country.

Will go in tonight for the fireworks though!

I am back from downtown ottawa and drunk. more like wwwaaaaaaaaaasted. glad that ian is safe.
