Okay....can Microsoft really track an email message?

Just got a spammish email.

I just got this email saying that....oh heck I will just post it here:

yada, yada, yada...the bottomline is they will send $ if you forward it. I usually just delete this stuff, but got it from someone who's opinion I respect(possible the past tense now :) ) .

Which brought up a thought, can they really track an email like this?

Trash it.

I received one of these about 5 years ago between then and now I have seen Bill Gates personally trash this email and say it is rubbish.

Thanks, that is what I have been doing. I just wondered if there was a technical way that MS could track an email.... I didn't think so :)

Something funny... at the bottom of the email it had a link to their "New Search Engine"...
