before I loved the www now it the www is evil and I must wage war.
ok back to reality, seriously this site has made me too suspicious
Every client is ignorant, cheap, or obnoxious;
Every credit card sale is fraudulent;
Every shipment is late, damaged, or lost;
Every SE bans my sites for no good reason at all;
Every web helldesk is script-limited, overseas, or offline;
As I huddle safely here in my Faraday Cage ...
Thanks WebmasterWorld for helping me withstand the Wicked Wild Web.
No matter how cynical you get, it is impossible to keep up.
Success is the one unpardonable sin against our fellows.
The competitor to be feared is one who never bothers about you at all, but goes on making his own business better all the time.
Each client is a partnership, a conversation. You're only going to be able to go as far as they wish to go, in a way. That makes all the difference.
A few more cliches on this subject:
"and this above all, to thine own self be true"
"The toes you step on today just might be connected to the ### you kiss tomorrow."
"get the edge on the competition"
"Don't get mad, get even!"
"do unto others before they do unto you"
"cynics are the harshest critics of everyone else but themselves"
"there is no such thing as constructive criticism"
