My Brush Hog Mower runs backward and blows the grass down in place of cutting it . Do these Towing Mowers have a reverse control in their gear box? I've tried to flip the blades over . that's not the answer.

Does this forum answer questions on many subjects?

Er, hi Tomada ;-)

Well, we might just have a farm equipment expert here, but, as per the name of this website, we're mostly webmasters ;-)

What the heck, we'll have a go - let's move this into Foo. There might be one or two here who have a farm, or know about mechanics....

Oh yes, and then of course there's the search engines ;-)

The general answer to that is no we don't. WebasterWorld relates to authoring and maintaining websites, marketing websites, and general webmaster technology issues.

Flipping the blades over just means your cutting backwards and upside down. :)

Some PTOs have a switch, some have a pin that can be removed from one pin location and locked into another. Forward and Reverse settings. Hard to diagnose without a model#. Then there's the issue of F/R on your PTO with a lever that can be activated from your tractor. Or a broken throwout arm.
