Don't put your IPod in the washing machine

It's not healthy

Metropolitan Ambulance spokeswoman Lirije Memishi said it was unclear what the teenager had ingested.

Lesson learned, dont eat your iPod, even if it comes out clean. Your stomach may shuffle.

As long it's not in his stomach, he can play safe.

I tried but the PC wouldn't fit in. Maybe I should have bought a Mac Mini after all.

Whathever the washing machine, and Apple efforts, I still find Mac Minis hard to injest.

I wonder how good the Wi-Fi connection in your stomach would be...

I also wonder if a steel stomach act as a Faraday cage. Am I well grounded?

Are you well grounded, or is your stomach?

The multimetre reads 16 k between my brain and the water pipe, but I can't have a reading for my stomach. I need either a smaller probe I wont gag on, or maybe a drill?

Nightmare! Forget about putting your IPod in the washing machine - I dropped my XDA (Palm PC) into the (clean) toilet a couple of days ago! It's like loosing a friend.

Every now and then it pops back to life allowing me to go through the set up procedure then gets to the part when you have to reboot...then it's dead again...

I've taken it apart, used my wifes hair-dryer on it all to no avail. Dead. <sobbing>

I guess your wife served you the line : "And how many times did I tell you to put the toilet seat cover down?"

That just goes to show you shouldn't use your palm pc to wipe.
