heard on the news tonight:

mcdonalds is considering outsourcing the order taking part of the drivethrough operation to remote order takers. they claim that a remote order taker can handle the job more efficiently than the local attendant.

so if you want to save those mcjobs and get some exercise, consider getting out of the car/suv and going to the counter.

I already banned Micky D's from my list of fast food places when I found out I had to order 2 drinks just to quench my thirst.

Me: "Oh you guys don't have Super Size any more? Oh, in that case give me another Quarter Pounder w/ Cheese, and an extra order of fries. That way I am preventing you from saving my life, and therefor am releasing you of liability should I have a stroke..."

I just eat carrots and cucumbers now. They gave me a complex. I need to go from 150 to 125. I was obese don't you know? At 5'11" and 150lbs. All because I ordered the Super Size. lol

Buttheads... I used to love that place!

What really pisses me off is that the regular size of anything "shrinks." So I guess they can say it now has less calories.

Now.. if we could only apply the same concept and have a shrinking Government.

outsourcing the drive-through orders to india and then back to the cashier . . .hmmm, how quickly can they calculate from dollars to rupees back to dollars?
and, what happens when an indian customer recognizes the voice of a friend "back home" and they start chatting it up, reminiscing about the "old days" and enjoying what amounts to a FREE phone call?

It's when you find you get the wrong order that the real fun begins!
