It occured to me that whoever analyzes the traffic here would find it easier if members take the few seconds and log in every visit.
I often don't unless im going to post something but does WW prefer it if we log in everytime even if you are'nt posting so they can track things easier?
Or is that asking to much from the average member
who might just want to take a quick peak at the latest threads.

Just wondering, still cant afford membership
so i'd at least like to show some respect.

Guess that they pick up a cookie each time you visit and log you in (see the Welcome <username> at the top).

If you have the proper connection to the Internet, why not just stay logged in? Sometimes I'm logged in for weeks until it's time to reboot W2k at which time I dump ALL cookies and defrag.

Personal choice I suppose.

I guess i'm on the paranoid end of the spectrum,
preffering to delete all temp files often.
It's nothing to do with this place but i find just visiting websites sometimes i get spammed with a similar topic to some site i saw recently, also the cookies help people i dont prefer to help track where im going in their vast networks of spammy websites.
I set my ie to options prompt for all but first party and session and have ww in my allow always list.
If i like the site i allow the cookies for there ads , if i dont i block em.

Why not stay logged on. Saves the hassle of finding the page remembering your password. I often forget mine.

I hate having to log on every time to yahoo. This site makes it so easy, I stay logged in with cookies.

Don't know why they just don't remove the "Remember my ID on this computer". Never did work.

I never log out of WW, unless something happens to the cookie.

Never did work.

You mean other sites? Yeah, Yahoo and Ebay are really bad about that lately.
