My site was hacked and someone stole a load of bandwidth from me...

Good news
None of my stuff on the server was touched - phew!

It was my own fault - I installed the software that compromised the security.

Good news
I dont have to pay for all the bandwidth stolen. The company who hosts my server cut me a deal!

It was a well known stats package that had a security hole.

Upgrading to the latest release plugs the hole.
