From the BBC article [news.bbc.co.uk]:
"At the moment we are finding it very difficult to get the quantity of poo we need," she said. "We are hoping the community will help by collecting poo for us and dropping it off in plastic bags. New or old, we'll take it all."

Amazing what you can make with nothing but a pile of old crap, isn't it!

Amazing what one learns at WebmasterWorld. From further down that article

>>"I also discovered that in Scandinavia, elk poo paper is the stationery of choice in most offices"

Happily there is no mention of rabbits ;)

Perhaps rabbit poo wouldn't work? I mean, you have to start with the right kind of crap, don't you think? ;)

I think the key bit is that it has to be herbivore poo... with rabbits, you just might need a LOT more of it to get any use from. Unless rabbits have a fundamental difference between their poo and that of other herbivores?

Well, don't know about the "herbivore" tag.... bovine poo obviously doesn't get it, and they're nothing if not herbivorous! Equine as well.... hmm. Wonder wherein lieth the difference?

Uh. Maybe I feel a PHD dissertation coming on....

Maybe horses and cows just aren't exotic enough for the specialty stationery market.

Exotic be damned - if the specialty paper market needs poo, they're going at it from the wrong end! There are MILLIONS of equine and bovine contributors out there just DYING for a place to....

Ah.... um. Okay. I'll stop now....
