I'm toast! Is it cabin fever? Is it just me?

Just getting over the flu. Feeling ragged. A little cranky.

Has anyone had enough of life indoors? Nothing green growing on the trees? No gardening to do? No feeling the sun warming your back and shoulders? Am I alone in this plight? This longing for something?

Anyone else feeling the need to head south for an injection of sun and warmth?

Tell me either about cheap flights and lodging in Key West or the Caribbean, or tell me about green thing growing and flowers blooming and tell me about warm breezes and convertibles with their tops down . . .

Yes, SADD has arrived on schedule for me ;-) Knowest thou this gloom of February?

Went for a jacuzzi and a sauna this evening with the lady. That helps. Went South to Spain a few weeks ago and it was the coldest weather there for 20 years. Stay at home man!

Nope. Winter is the time when I immerse myself in whatever needs doing on my sites. And when I muscle up new business. And when I take a break to play a CRPG like NWN, or read a book. Or just sit and watch it snow. Long live winter....

In summer, we ride and travel. And that gets me to fall and winter again. Long live winter.

Well I have roses in flower, where you can see them above the weeds. There are apricots, pears, plums and apples on the trees, and kiwifruit and grapes on the vines either ripe now or ripening. But then I'm right down south.

Its cabin fever alright.

Another grey cold and windy day dawns in Colchester, I really hate this time of year.

Either that's unbelievably hilarious or I'm so tired I'll laugh at anything...

garyr_h: for those who love the sun and summer, it's probably unbelievably hilarious. I don't like either, anything over 70 is WAY too warm, and if I never saw the sun I'd be perfectly happy. In other words, I a hermit. I LIKE the long nights of winter and the cold and snow.... so of course, unlike the OP, I don't ever get cabin fever.
